Pictolo Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Muntean Holding AS ("we", "our", "us"), a company registered in Norway trading as Illebra, covering your use of the Pictolo mobile app. By downloading or playing Pictolo you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Pictolo on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, rent, resell or create derivative works from the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Intellectual property

Pictolo, its name, its puzzle artwork, its chapter illustrations, its code and its design are owned by Muntean Holding AS and protected by copyright. Nonograms as a puzzle form are not owned by anyone; our specific hand-drawn puzzles are.

4. Virtual items and purchases

Pictolo is free to download. It offers optional in-app purchases: coin packs and a one-time Remove Ads purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms; we never handle your payment details.

• Coins, hints, hearts, streak freezes and other in-game items are a limited licence to use a feature of the app. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to another person or account.
• Because progress is stored on your device, uninstalling the app or switching devices will lose your coin balance. The Remove Ads purchase can be restored via Restore purchases in the shop or settings.
• We may change item prices, the coin economy, or retire items in future versions. We will not remove a Remove Ads entitlement you have already bought.

5. Refunds

Purchases are handled by the App Store and Google Play, so refunds follow their policies and must be requested from them, not from us. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content, which you may waive by starting to use the content immediately. If something has clearly gone wrong — a purchase that did not arrive, for instance — contact us and we will help.

6. Advertising

The free version of Pictolo shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you may choose to watch in exchange for a heart. Ad content comes from third parties and we do not control or endorse it. See our Privacy Policy for how ad personalisation and consent work.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to cheat, tamper with the app's files, use modified clients, or interfere with the app's ads or purchase flow. We may stop supporting installations that do so.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Pictolo is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under Norwegian or EU consumer law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Subject to that, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date. You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
